Parallel: Vacation
A shapechanging alien superhero in need of a vacation gets the opportunity to spend several months in a parallel universe where super powers do not exist. Unfortunately, her trip will be anything but a vacation thanks to a lonely girl and villain's sinister plot...
Overview
After a successful mission, Liz (aka the superheroine Xenocycle), realizes she can't face another news cycle which rakes her name through the mud. Desperate to escape the cycle of dishonest journalists, politics rooted editorializing, and blatant lies, Liz agrees to assist an AI by taking a backup module into a parallel dimension in order to maximize the AI's chances of long-term survival. Taking full advantage of the opportunity to spend some time on a world without superheros, Liz elects to make use of her powers as a shapechanger to blend in and take a vacation on the other dimension's much more mundane Earth.
Unbeknownst to Liz, the supervillain whose dimension jumping technology the AI stole escaped prison and set up shop on the very Earth Liz just arrived upon decades ago as part of a plan to construct a base of operations no hero could ever discover. Even worse, the dimension jump can only be preformed during a very specific time of the month. The only backup Liz can have is friends she makes in the new world...
